As coleções da Valentino têm sempre o condão de nos fazer voar até sonhos bem acordados.
Desta vez, Maria Grazia Chiuri e Pierpaolo Piccioli inspriram-se na suavidade e na luminosidade das pinturas holandesas. Com golas brancas - umas mais simples, outras ricamente decoradas -, retiradas das personagens centrais desses quadros, destacaram o rosto. Quiseram retratar mulheres em momentos de calma e serenidade. Algumas silhuetas já típicas da dupla serviram de tela ao
look graciosamente austero pintado por sedas, bordados ricos e cores de exuberância contida.

This time, Maria Grazia Chu«iuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli got inspired by the soft lightning of Dutch paintings. With white collars - some plain, others heavilly embelished -, borrowed from the central characters in those paintings, they brought the attentions up to the face. The designers wanted to capture women in private moments of serenity. Some of their go to silhouettes were the canvas for the gracefully austere look the silks, rich embroideries and almost exuberant colours painted.
